Hello! My name is Phatpicha Thatchakornkunlawat, but everyone calls me Tangmo. I am a Computer Science student concentrating in Data Science and Cybersecurity, with a particular interest in cybersecurity. I'm still exploring exactly where I fit best within the field, and I'm excited to keep learning and growing as I go.
My cybersecurity foundation is still at an early stage, built through coursework, CTF competitions, and hands-on labs — I've tried both red team and blue team roles and learned a great deal along the way. But when I discovered Cloud, it just clicked for me in a way that felt easier to grasp, and that's the direction I want to keep building on. I'm currently studying secure AWS architecture and preparing for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA-C03) exam.
In my free time, I like writing novels and drawing. Lately though, Cloud has kind of become a hobby too — I'll spend a weekend just studying, or scrolling through LinkedIn to see what other people in Cloud are building and working on. Seeing their work is honestly what keeps me motivated to keep learning.

Description: Developed an edge-to-cloud IoT security system using ESP32. Integrated RFID access control, MQ-2 smoke detection, and PIR intrusion alerts with real-time LINE Notify synchronization and a Blynk web dashboard.

Description: Engineered a smart parking prototype utilizing IR and ultrasonic sensors for real-time occupancy tracking and collision warning, managed via a custom event-driven architecture on ESP32. Built end-to-end solo — from writing the firmware to assembling the physical model.

My Role / Contribution: Cloud Architect / Developer
Description: Deployed this portfolio to a private Amazon S3 bucket with public access fully blocked, architected for CloudFront with Origin Access Control so that only the CDN can read the origin. Secured the account with MFA and a zero-spend budget alert. The live site is delivered over a global CDN with automatic deployments on every Git push and enforced HTTPS.

Award: AI Spark Award — 1st Place, AI Mini Hackathon
Description: Two events, same day, both with team DUM. Designed and pitched Aegis, a concept for an AI-powered real-time security system for sovereign GPU cloud, advancing to the final stage pitch with live Q&A from the judges. In the AI Mini Hackathon: "Solving Real-World Problems", built an AI solution to a real-world problem under a tight time limit and won 1st place — the AI Spark Award.

Description: BU Cyber Fortress Challenge & Career Expo, hosted on TryHackMe as a 700-minute team room. Finished 4th out of 39 competitors with 2,560 points, solving jeopardy-style challenges across web, forensics and Linux privilege escalation.

Description: Two-day inter-university hackathon at Roi Et Rajabhat University, organized by the Faculty of Information Technology together with NCSA. Competing in the Senior bracket against 14 teams (42 players), we finished 4th with 1,700 points, working through CTFd challenges on practical vulnerabilities and penetration testing.
